We are soon to launch our new website for the public forests in England. Take an early look at the beta site

Children's bikes and scooters

We know that some of Westonbirt's paths are heaven for young scooter and bicycle riders!

We are keen to ensure that children can enjoy riding around Westonbirt, whilst still ensuring we cater for the needs of all of our visitors.

We allow children aged 5 years and under to use bikes and scooters in the arboretum under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Parents and guardians should ensure that children ride carefully throughout the arboretum and be mindful of other visitors.

We allow children’s bikes and scooters measuring 70cm or less from the ground to the top of the handle bars in the arboretum.

Please check your bike or scooter before you visit to make sure it fits the bill.

Kids only!

Unfortunately adults are not permitted to cycle in the arboretum. We provide bicycle racks and offer a discount on general admission to adults arriving by bicycle.
